One way or
another we all have to wear clothes but, how we wear them can say a lot about
who we are. It seems like we are always guiding what we wear by what we think
other people will think of our outfits. Not that it's a bad thing to be aware
of our appearance however, if you don't like a certain top but, plan on wearing
it anyway because it will look "better" don't, because chances are
you won't feel comfortable in and with your outfit. Plus if you don't like it,
it's not you. I think we all have been in that place before. So wear what works
on you and what you love. Try new and different pieces but, please, please
don't wear socks with high-heeled sandals. It's always been a struggle to find
what works, what you love to wear, and how to wear it.
A little bit about me: I am very interested in
photography, decorating, floral design, writing, and I love reading. My
all-time favorite authors are Charles Dickens and Jane Austen. If someone asked
me to describe my personal style I'm not sure how I would narrow it down but,
I'll try to give a brief run down as I am still trying to figure "me"
out as most people are because our style and the things we like are constantly
changing. To start with I love dressing up! Any event I get to wear heels and
some bling to I'm all over it. I love hats, especially fascinators and derby
hats (although I don't have one yet, I will). The way I describe my type of
shopping is "I buy lower priced items but, I buy a lot" I like
finding high priced outfits and creating a lower priced version. I generally
have a more minimalistic style with a pop of color. A favorite look of mine is
wearing a plain blank 3/4 sleeve shirt, dark denim skinny jeans, black eyeliner
on the eyelids only, and bright red lipstick. My style icons are Adele and
Audrey Hepburn. Never over-done but, always gorgeous and put together. We hope
to help you create those high end looks on a budget, because hey you want a
little cash on hand for when that one “to die for” piece from E F Home (or
whoever) comes along. As we progress we would love to offer some giveaways
however, they will be at random so you have to check back. Also I will be
